Terms: 50/50 Raffle is organised by Team New Zealand Roller Derby as a fundraiser for their World Cup squad to travel to Innsbruck, Austria to compete in the Roller Derby World Cup from 3-6 July 2025.
The cost to purchase an entry is $20 each and can be paid into the Team New Zealand Roller Derby nominated bank account. Entries be made in multiples, i.e. $100 paid into the nominated bank account = 5 entries. Entries are secured only when payment is made and funds deposited into the nominated bank account must have ‘50 50’ in the particulars, your name in the ‘code’, and your phone number in the ‘reference’ section of the deposit to be considered as valid. No refunds on purchasing.
Members of the club and their families and friends are permitted to entries.
There is one prize given to a randomly drawn entry, which is cash to the value of 50% of the total amount raised when the raffle closes at 11.59pm on Thursday 26 June 2025. The winning entry will be drawn by a third party in the presence of all in attendance at the Team New Zealand Roller Derby training/track testing on Tuesday 1 July 2025, in Innsbruck, Austria. The winner’s name will be read out in a live stream on the club’s Facebook page and publicised on the Team New Zealand Roller Derby’s social channels. The winner will be notified by phone shortly after the drawing of the raffle.
The remaining 50% of the proceeds of the raffle will be allocated to the Team New Zealand Roller Derby Austria travel fundraising fund.
The draw is final and no discussion will be entered into. If the prize is not claimed within 30 days of 1 July 2025, the raffle will be redrawn in the presence of an officer of the law or a Justice of the Peace.
Team New Zealand Roller Derby reserve the right to cancel, terminate or modify the raffle at any time. Team New Zealand Roller Derby’s decision in all matters involving the raffle is final.
By entering in the draw, winners agree that their image may be used for future marketing purposes.
